The teacher training program “Ethics’’ is with a duration of nine semesters and is provided by the University of Jena. Students will explore issues from several different disciplines, namely philosophy, religion as well as religious studies. A strong emphasis is placed on philosophy and the great Western philosophers. What is more, participants will discuss various topics such as human life and coexistence or the role and place of humans in society, nature and history. Graduates will be qualified to teach ethical topics and problems in regular schools (Regelschule).
