“Ethics" is a teaching degree with duration of nine semesters, offered by the University of Jena. It is ideal for those who are interested in educating children and young people. Students entering this program will gain in-depth theoretical knowledge in the areas of philosophy, religion and religious studies. Content of study includes the lectures Special History of Religions, Environment, Nature & Ethics, Practical Philosophy, Reading Course, Introduction to Philosophy. At the end of their studies, participants are able to effectively teach others about ethical topics and problems. Upon successful completion of “Ethics", graduates are qualified teachers and can work schools and other educational institutions.
