“Bachelor of Arts in Folklore/Cultural History’’ is a study program provided by the University of Jena. Within the course of six semesters, students will become familiar with ways of life of people in their own culture as well as the relations between culture and society in Europe. The curriculum comprises of different modules that cover topics such as ethnology and religious studies, art history, linguistics, cultural theory, media analysis, and more. Since the program equips students with a broad knowledge and skills, graduates will be able to find employment opportunities in a variety of fields such as museums, journalism, science, and more.
