The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Fundamentals of Christianity” is provided by the University of Jena. The aim is to teach students the history of Christianity, and what is the role of theology for religion. The course offers seminars and theoretical lectures such as Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic Theology, Church History, Practical Theology with Religious Education. In addition, they can also participate in practical exercises, where will gain further knowledge. Successful completion leads to professional career in institutes and associations of cultural and social life, in the areas of art and exhibition, and others.
