The six-semester extension examination program in “French’’ is provided by the University of Jena. Students acquire the necessary competencies to practice the teaching profession in regular schools (Regelschule). What is more, participants will study French as a third subject as per the Jena Model. This approach equips students with didactic-methodical knowledge and skills. In addition, they get to know more the Francophone culture through linguistic and literary studies. The curriculum comprises of classes taught entirely in French by native speakers with authentic materials.
