The nine-semester state examination study program “French’’ is provided at the University of Jena. Here, students will study according to the Jena Model for the teaching profession in regular schools (Regelschule). Participants will acquire a set of skills that will enable them to teach French as a school subject. The curriculum is designed to impart didactic-methodical knowledge and abilities as well as linguistic competencies. What is more, students will have the chance to become more familiar with the Francophone culture.
