University of Jena is offering the part-time, three-semester certificate course “Future Market 65 plus”. By entering the program, students have the chance to gain insights of the fundaments of psychology, sociology and medicine, while developing their entrepreneurial skills. They will also learn more about the needs and life situations of seniors. Study plan includes the subjects Education and Culture, Physical and Mental Health, Representation of Interests, Mobility in Old Age. By the end of their studies, participants will be able to work and communicate with people of age 65 and up in professional manner. Successful completion leads to professional career in social services and health institutions.
