University of Jena is offering the four-semester study course “Master of Science in Geography - Migration, Demographic Change and Regional Development”. Students acquire knowledge of the demographic and regional development, and learn the migration and regional research methods. This program offers five different specializations. In addition, participants can take part in an internship program, where will further their knowledge and skills. By attending lectures such as Bio-Geo Interactions, Botany, Environmental Chemistry, Geothermal Energy, Paleontology, Applied Geology, they will gain insights of areas like demographic change, population, and globalization. Upon successful completion, graduates are qualified for career at universities and research institutions.
