University of Jena is offering the “Master of Arts in German as a Foreign Language - German as a Second Language” study course. It is with a duration of four semesters. This program is designed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and would like to deepen their theoretical and scientific knowledge. They have the opportunity to participate in an internship program abroad, where will gain additional experience and skills. Content of study includes the subjects Skills & Testing, Language Comparison, Migration & Multilingualism, Cultural Studies, Media Didactics and Research. Upon successful completion, graduates are qualified for professional career in teaching positions at public and private educational institutions, as well as in the field of radio and television media.
