“Master of Arts in German Classicism in the European Context” is a study program offered by the University of Jena with a duration of four semesters. The aim is to provide participants with in-depth theoretical knowledge of German literature and the history of philosophy. By entering the program, students will learn new methods in literary studies. Content of study includes History of Philosophy, German Idealism, Modern German Literature. After successful completion of “German Classicism in the European Context” graduates are prepared for professional career in all areas and institutions connected with the German culture and cultural history.
