University of Jena provides the four-semester study program “Master of Arts in Greek and Latin Philology”. It is designed to teach participants the culture and literature from antiquity to present days. They have the opportunity to choose between two different specializations: Greek philology, and Latin philology. Those who enter the course, will acquire solid theoretical knowledge of areas like Ancient History, Byzantine Studies, Indo-Germanic Studies, Classical Archaeology, Philosophy and Theology. After successful completion of “Greek and Latin Philology” graduates have wide range of career prospects in publication companies, in governmental and private institutions, public administration and much more.
