“Bachelor of Arts in Greek Studies” is a study course provided by the University of Jena with a duration of six semesters. It is aimed to teach participants the basics of Greek history, art, culture and religion. Students entering the program have the chance to attend theoretical lectures and seminars like Practical Philosophy, Greek Studies, Greek Linguistics, Introduction to Latin, History of Philosophy. By the end of their studies, participants will be able to read, understand and interpret Greek texts. After successfully completing “Greek Studies” graduates have wide range of career opportunities, for example at universities, research institutions, NGOs and much more.
