“Bachelor of Arts in History’’ is a study program provided by the University of Jena. Within the course of six semesters, prospective students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of history. They will explore all eras of the subject encompassing antiquity, the Middle Ages, the early modern period, followed by the 19th and 20th centuries and ending with the present. What is more, participants will acquire methodological skills that will help them to independently deal with different historical and cultural issues. In addition to the theoretical lectures, students will take part in an integrated internship that will offer them the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice.
