“Bachelor of Arts in History” is a six-semester degree program offered by the University of Jena. The aim is to provide participants with solid knowledge of history and its basics from antiquity to present days. By entering in this program, students have the chance to explore theoretical lectures such as Ancient History, Medieval History, Early Modern History, Epoch, Historical Spaces & Regions, where will also learn how to analyze and deal with complex historical, social and cultural problems in professional manner. In addition, they are able to participate in an internship program and further their knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion, graduates can find their career prospects in media, adult education, public relations, non-governmental organizations, tourism, and much more.
