“Master of Arts in Indo-European Studies” is a study program offered by the University of Jena with a duration of four semesters. It is designed for those who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and would like to deepen the knowledge they have gained, and further their qualification. By entering in this program, they study how to evaluate and analyze traditional and modern linguistic approaches. Content of study includes the lectures Akkadian Language and Literature, Introduction to Sumerian, Semantics and Pragmatics, Italic Linguistics, Morphology and Word Formation, South Slavic Linguistics. Upon completion of this program, graduates are prepared for career in the field of media, editing, cultural management, public relations, specialized journalism, and adult education.
