Description
“Bachelor of Arts in Life Sciences” is a six-semester degree course offered by the University of Jena. The aim is to provide students with solid scientific knowledge of the living things and what is their connection with the environment, as well as to understand how to deal with biological problems in professional manner. Some of the main subjects are Zoology, Botany, Ecology, Microbiology and Biochemistry. Participants will also take part in practical exercises in laboratory where will gain additional experience. After completing this program, graduates can find their career opportunities for example in environmental education, natural history museums, governmental institutions and others.
