“Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics’’ is a six-semester degree program provided by the University of Jena. By enrolling in this course, prospective students will learn more about the cross-linguistic science. This is achieved through a comprehensive curriculum that involves the study of several philologies. The latter include namely, Germanic, English, Romance and Slavic linguistics along with Arabic, Indo-Germanic, and Caucasian studies. Participants will acquire theoretical knowledge and skills of linguistic communication. Furthermore, students will be presented with the opportunity to specialize in one of the following languages: Russian, Romanian, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Czech or Georgian.
