University of Jena offers the four-semester degree program “Master of Science in Materials Science”. It is designed for students with Bachelor’s degree, who would like to deepen their knowledge. By entering this course, participants will learn how to analyze and evaluate different classes of materials, using specific methods. They will attend variety of theoretical lectures such as Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, Laser Materials, Computational Materials Science, Modern Methods of Spectroscopy, where will also learn how to solve and deal with complex materials problems. Upon successful completion, graduates can find their career opportunities in the energy technology, medical technology, or environmental technology.
