University of Jena is offering the degree program “Master of Science in Mathematics”. The duration is four semesters, and participants have the chance to choose between English and German language. Those who enter the course will become familiar with the mathematical theories and techniques, and how to apply them in practice. They have the opportunity to choose between eight different specializations. Some of the main subjects includes Statistics, Coding Theory, Algebraic Number Theory, Databases and Information Systems, Computer algebra. Upon successful completion, graduates are qualified for professional career in insurance companies and banks, universities, research institutions and others.
