Description
“Medicine” is a state examination course with a duration of thirteen semesters offered by the University of Jena. It combines both theory and practice. Students entering this program are able to learn how to prevent and recognize different diseases, as they will gain solid medical and methodological knowledge and skills. Subjects which students will attend includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology. In addition, they can choose between three different specializations: Clinic-oriented Medicine, Outpatient-oriented Medicine, and Research-oriented Medicine. Career opportunities for graduates are in hospitals, universities, research institutions and others.
