“Music” is a ten-semester teaching degree program offered by the University of Jena. It is ideal for those who are interested in teaching. The aim is to provide students with knowledge of how to professionally deal with the music and to understand its types and genres. Participants who enter the course have the chance to explore theoretical and practical subjects such as Piano, Singing, Speech Training, Choral Conducting, Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythmics, Musicology. In addition, students also have the chance to participate in an internship program. After successful completion, graduates are qualified for teaching positions, focusing on music education.
