“Master of Arts in Modern History” is offered by the University of Jena. This study course is with a duration of four semesters. It is designed for students who would like to deepen the knowledge they have gained during their Bachelor’s studies. By entering in the program, participants have the chance to learn more about the national and regional history, European history, North American history, economic and social history. Content of study includes theoretical subjects such as Fundamentals of Islam, Economy and Space, Modern History, Cultures of the Caucasus, Cultural imprints of the South Slavs. Upon successful completion, graduates can find wide range of career opportunities in media, documentation, adult education, research institutions, in governmental and non-governmental institutions and much more.
