“Pharmacy’’ is a state examination program provided by the University of Jena. Throughout the course of eight semesters, students will be introduced to the versatile aspects related to pharmacy. What makes this course different than the others is that it offers intensive training where students will often have to exchange the lecture hall for a laboratory. With this approach they will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge in practice and research and experiment with medication. The curriculum also explores clinical and legal aspects. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can find employment in community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, the chemical and drug testing agencies, and more.
