University of Jena offers the six-semester program in “Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy’’. By choosing this course, students will deal with interpreting and understanding human existence and the world as a whole. Participants will receive basic education in several areas of philosophy, some of which include theoretical philosophy, logic and augmentation, and history of philosophy. What is more, students will develop specific abilities that will enable them to work in a scientific manner. In addition, the curriculum allows participants to choose an individual focus that best suits their interests.
