“Master of Arts in Philosophy” is a degree course offered by the University of Jena with a duration of four semesters. It is designed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and would like to deepen their scientific knowledge. This course offers three different specializations: Theoretical & Practical Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Image Theory & Aesthetics. The aim is to teach students how to critically analyze complex problems. They will explore various subjects such as Global Education, Social Theory, Philosophy in Latin, Education-Culture-Anthropology. Graduates of “Philosophy” have wide range of career opportunities, for examples in press and publishing industry, libraries and archives, science journalism, research institutions and others.
