“Master of Science in Photonics” is an English-taught, four-semester study course offered by the University of Jena. The aim is to provide students with in-depth scientific knowledge of the experimental and theoretical optics. They will attend different lectures and seminars such as Experimental Optics, Fundamentals of Modern Optics, Applied Laser Technology, Biophotonics, Computational Photonics. In addition, participants will also take part in an internship program, where will improve their knowledge and skills. successful completion of this program leads to professional career in the fields of optics, photonics and laser technologies, as well as in research institutions or companies.
