The six-semester part-time extension exam program “Physics’’ is provided by the University of Jena. Here, students will receive teacher training for practicing the profession of physics teacher in regular schools (Regelschule). What is more, they will learn how to inspire enthusiasm for this discipline and encourage students to engage in the learning process. Aside from the didactic content features in this study plan, participants will also deepen their knowledge in experimental physics with theoretical modules and lectures in mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more. What is more, students will have to take part in a basic internship where they can apply the knowledge already acquired throughout their studies.
