Description
The ten-semester state examination program in “Protestant Religious Education’’ is provided by the University of Jena. Its main objective is to prepare students for teaching religion classes in grammar schools (Gymnasium). Participants will explore in-depth the concept of the faith in God as well as its evolution throughout history and its importance for the present. The degree content features an introductory phase to Theology along with courses in the Old Testament, New Testament, History of Dogma, Church History, and more. Furthermore, participants will also acquire skills in designing and carrying out religious learning processes.
