University of Jena offers the four-semester course “Master of Science in Psychology”. It is designed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and would like to deepen their methodological knowledge, as well as to gain further qualification. In addition, they will learn how to evaluate and analyze special scientific literature, by using new research methods. This program offers three different specializations. Content of study includes practical exercises and lectures such as Psychological Diagnosis, Item Response Theory, Adult Education, Experimental Psychopathology, Integrative Research. Successful completion of “Psychology” leads to professional career in the field of education, health and social services, administration and others.
