The six-semester extension exam program “Russian’’ is offered at the University of Jena. This part-time course is ideal for students who want to teach Russian at regular schools (Regelschule). Here, they will receive subject-specific knowledge and skills in different aspects related to the Russian language and culture. The curriculum is designed in a way to provide essential knowledge in theories and structures of the Russian language, knowledge of Russian literature, regional studies as well as history of the country. Throughout their studies, participants can also benefit of exchange opportunities provided by Russian universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Belarus.
