The nine-semester state examination course „Russian’’ is offered at the University of Jena. It is ideal for students who aspire to become teachers at regular schools (Regelschule). The program is designed to impart subject-specific as well as didactic knowledge and skills in the Russian language and Russian culture. Furthermore, students will learn how to speak and write in Russian. An essential knowledge of theories and structures of the Russian language is also acquired. Participants will also explore regional studies and the history of Russia.
