“Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Studies – East Slavic Studies’’ is a six-semester study program provided by the University of Jena. By choosing this course, students will become familiar with the fundamental principles of language, literature and culture of Slavic countries. The curriculum comprises of a core subject of Eastern Slavic Studies, where students will study Russian along with another Slavic language of their choice. The latter include Czech, Polish, Bulgarian or Serbian/Croatian. Other modules featured in this degree content focus on cultural studies, literary studies and interdisciplinary issues and methods.
