Description
The ten-semester state examination program “Social Studies’’ is offered by the University of Jena. Its main objective is to prepare students for the challenges of the teacher profession in grammar schools (Gymnasium). Here, participants will learn how to evaluate, analyze and communicate political issues as well as problems of domestic and foreign policy to students in a scientific way. What is more, the study plan is designed to impart economic and sociological knowledge that students will need in order to advance their understanding of politics, economics and sociology.
