“Master of Arts in Social Theory” is a four-semester study course offered by the University of Jena. It is ideal for those who already hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant area. Students entering this program have the opportunity to gain solid theoretical knowledge in areas like sociology, political science, philosophy and applied ethics, and their methods. They will attend lectures like Theory of Society, Globalization & Regional Change, Global Education, Postcolonial Education, Social Change in Spatial Perspective. In addition, students will participate in an internship program, where can further their knowledge and experience. Career opportunities for graduates are for example at universities, research institutions, international organizations, NGOs and more.
