Description
The six-semester study course “Bachelor of Arts in Southeastern European Studies” is provided by the University of Jena. Those who enter the program will become familiar with the linguistic, cultural and social areas of the ethnic groups from Southeastern Europe. It focuses on three main areas: South Slavic Studies, Romanian Studies, and East European History. In addition, participants can choose between seven different languages. They will study subjects such as Methods of Historical Science, Linguistics and Literature, Cultural Studies, Research on Nationalism and Ethnicity. Those who would like to improve their language skills and knowledge can participate in an internship program abroad. Career opportunities for graduates are in radio, TV and print media, in national and international organizations, social services and others
