The “Master of Arts in Empirical Education Research” is a German-taught program conducted in German. It is designed for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Science, Social Pedagogy, or an equivalent subject. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Educational theory formation and educational reform processes, School and teaching research, Research in informal and non-formal fields of education, and Methods and methodology of empirical educational research. Additionally, students can personalise their education by taking on elective modules. The program is research-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience, as well as methodological and analytical skills needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are prepared for work in the field of quality assurance and development, as well as research and development.
