The “Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies” is a 6-semester program conducted in German and English. The course is a "combination bachelor", meaning students can take English and American Studies as a major and undertake additional minors. The latter can be in Protestant Religion, French, German studies, History, Art studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political science, and much more. Throughout their education, students receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They focus on acquiring methodological, social, and technical skills required for a successful career. Furthermore, the BA promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, self-regulation, communication and organization, and more. Graduates are qualified for positions in journalism, public relations, culture, education, and more. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
