The “Master of Arts in Art Studies” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Perception issues and design practice, Aesthetics and Art Theory, and Theory and History of Exhibition. Students can also choose a research-oriented specialisation and set their career paths early on. During the course of their education, participants will receive sound theoretical and practical training. The MA is application-oriented and provides participants with the opportunity to carry out a semester abroad and acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Graduates are qualified for work in museums, galleries, art associations, Archives, libraries, auction houses, art insurance companies, publishing houses, and more.
