The “Master of Arts in German as a Foreign and Second Language” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is designed for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in German Studies or a relevant subject. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses that focus on language, literature, cultural mediation, and media didactics. During the course of their education, participants will gain social, methodological and didactical skills needed for day-to-day operations. The MA prepares graduates for pedagogical or editorial work in publishing houses and cultural institutions, or for work in the field of academic research.
