The “Bachelor of Arts in History” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. This course is a Combination Bachelor, meaning participants will take on History as a major and select a minor to study alongside it. Minor subjects are, for example, English and American Studies, Protestant Religion, French, Art Studies, Sociology, Statistics, Economics, and more. During their education, students will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge. The BA is application-oriented and provides students with methodological, social, and analytical skills needed for the successful handling of complex tasks and projects. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to study a semester abroad and expand their horizons. Graduates can find employment in archives, libraries, and museums, in publishing, culture, media, and public relations, adult education, and more.
