The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Theories and History of Social Work, Educational and Psychological Foundations of Social Work, Sociological and Socio-political Foundations of Social Work, Legal Foundations of Social Work, and more. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to choose from elective modules and broaden their perspectives. The BSc is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and key competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified for work in various fields such as Child, youth and family aid, Health-related aids, Disability assistance, Social management, Care for the elderly, and more. The BSc is also an excellent foundation for a consecutive Master’s degree.
