The “Bachelor of Arts in Sociology” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The course is a "Combination Bachelor" meaning participants can take on Sociology as a major and choose a minor from the following - i.e. English and American Studies, Protestant Religion, Art Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Spanish, Statistics, Economics, and more. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. Additionally, the BA is application-oriented and provides participants with professional core competencies and hands-on experience. They’ll have the opportunity to take on an 8-week internship at home or study abroad. The BSc prepares graduates for work in State and federal authorities, Research & Development, Economy, Journalism, media and publishing, Social institutions, NGOs, etc. Graduates can also pursue a subsequent Master’s degree.
