The “Master of Arts in Sociology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on Social Inequality and Societal Inequality, Social Theory and Social Change, Advanced Methodology and Statistics, and Social Disparities and Social Inclusion. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by carrying out elective modules. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The MA is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Additionally, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as leadership, communication and organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, moderation, etc. Graduates are qualified to pursue a career in State and Federal Authorities, Administrations, Scientific Research at Universities, Social Institutions, and NGOs, Market and Opinion Research, Journalism, Media, and Publishing, and more.
