Description


The First State Examination program “Teaching at Grammar Schools” is a 9-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum includes 2 compulsory subjects - Educational and Social Sciences, as well as a combination of elective subjects. The latter can be English, French, Art, Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Religion, Sports, and more. During the course of their education, students will acquire industry-specific knowledge as well as practical relevance. They’ll gain key social, methodological, and didactical skills required for a successful career. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as project management, teamwork, leadership, communication and organisation, and more. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to work as teachers at grammar schools or they can pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
