The First State Examination program “Teaching at Secondary Schools“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. In addition to the Educational and Social Sciences core course, students have the opportunity to put their focus on two other elective modules. They can be Work Theory, Biology, Chemistry, Art, Mathematics, Languages, Politics and Economy, and more. The program is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and key competencies. Through various seminars and case studies, students will acquire social, methodological and didactical skills needed for day-to-day operations. The program prepares graduates for teaching positions at secondary schools. Graduates can also further their education with a Master’s degree.
