The “Bachelor of Education in Vocational Education - Subject Health” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. It is a cooperative course between the University of Fulda and the University of Kassel. Students will focus on Human biology, Health Promotion, Educational Sciences, Didactics, and more. They’ll also take up a second subject, i.e. German, English, Catholic Religion, Mathematics, Spanish, Sports, or other. During the course of their studies, students will acquire sound theoretical and practical knowledge. They’ll gain social, didactical, and methodological skills, as well as hands-on experience that will prepare them for day-to-day operations. Furthermore, the BEd promotes the development of soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, moderation, communication and organisation, and more. Upon completion of the program, graduates can start their career of teaching in vocational schools or high schools right away or opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
