Description
The “Bachelor of Education in Vocational Education – Specialization Metal Technology and Electrical Engineering” is a 6-semester program taught in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Educational Sciences and Business Education. Additionally, students can take up a second subject, i.e. Chemistry, German, English, Evangelical religion, French, Politics and Economy, Sport, etc. Throughout their education, participants will acquire in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge. Additional, they’ll gain hands-on experience and key methodological and didactic competencies. Also, the BEd promotes personal growth and the development of soft skills such as project management, leadership, teamwork, communication and organisation, etc. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified for teaching positions in vocational schools. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
