The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Science in Biogeosciences” is provided by the University of Koblenz and Landau. The course is targeting students interested in the natural and environmental science education and especially in biodiversity and landscape ecology. During their study, the prospective students explore the nature and the environment in the major subjects of biology and geography and obtain basic knowledge of chemistry, physics and statistics. “Bachelor of Science in Biogeosciences “deals intensively with the biological and geo-ecological aspects of geo-ecosystems and provides strong communication methods, professional academic English, scientific and methodological skills. Graduates will be able to specialize in environmental research or advisory work in federal and state authorities, municipalities, municipal associations, national and international companies as well as engineering and consulting offices.
