With a total length of four semesters, the study course “Master of Arts in Cultural Studies” is provided by the University of Koblenz and Landau. The degree program builds on the bachelor’s degree in cultural studies, but is also aimed at those interested in related fields. The course provides four different areas of focus, each focusing on different specialist disciplines and conveys scientific and professional skills for numerous areas of application while also preparing for further university qualifications. The focus primarily falls on aesthetic ethnology, body, senses, culture, internationality and transculturality of the media, globality and power. Graduates acquire broad, interdisciplinary cultural and cultural-scientific knowledge with cultural theoretical, cultural analytical, cross-cultural and intercultural competencies.
