With a total length of six semesters, the course “Bachelor of Science in Psychology” is offered by the University of Koblenz and Landau. By including scientific and mathematical-statistical sub-disciplines, the course explores the basics of psychology such as general psychology, biopsychology, developmental psychology, differential and personality psychology, social psychology, clinical psychology and prevention, educational psychology, business psychology, communication and media psychology along with the methods of psychology, statistics, test planning and evaluation, diagnostics and more. The prospective students obtain knowledge of the empirical research process, various research approaches and experimental control techniques with a strong understanding how a content issue can be integrated into experimental design and acquire the ability to conduct a literature review.
